Freddo, designed for Rosenthal, is a family of very thin and delicate porcelain objects that are immersed in heavy glass bases, almost like they’re partly trapped or frozen in a block of ice.
Emphasizing the contrast between the delicateness of the porcelain opposed to the bold presence of solid glass the objects aim to celebrate two timeless materials’ through the use of their very own production methods.
